Home Again

For a homebody like me, coming home after being away is so much fun! We've just returned from a month away (which I'll write more about later) and being in my familiar living room with my familiar couch and all the other things that make this place home, is wonderful. We got home Wednesday afternoon after leaving Addis Abeba around 6am that morning by bus. The trip was lovely (I've always enjoyed bus rides!) and walking in our doors just made me happy. It was very enjoyable making supper because I knew all ingredients in my kitchen and how to make a simple meal and even doing dishes was fun because I was excited that I knew where each dish went! Ahhh... home sweet home! We even got to see a love bird out our window (which we haven't seen around here before)!
