Adventures in Travel

I just about got ran over by a donkey today!!!! Tam and I were walking to catch a matatu (bus) and there was a donkey pulling a cart being encouraged (with a shovel to the back) by his owner to run- well, apparently we were a great target. Tam and I moved off the road only to have him continue to head straight for us! Then the owner got him to move over... only after we had jumped back into a pile of thorn bushes. I was pretty excited that I can now say that I was run off the road by a donkey- most people don't get that claim to fame. The matatu that we caught managed to fit thirty people into a twelve passenger van- it was the most crowded that I have been on yet. Fun, fun, fun :)
